The Ferrari 208 GTB Turbo was introduced in 1982 and became Ferrari’s first turbocharged production road car, marking the beginning of the turbo era that would later give rise to legendary models such as the 288 GTO and F40. Developed specifically for the Italian market, it featured a 2.0-liter V8 engine with a single turbocharger, producing 220 horsepower and reaching a top speed of 242 km/h. Despite its relatively small displacement, the turbocharged setup delivered impressive performance and a far more aggressive character than earlier versions.
With only 687 examples produced worldwide, the 208 Turbo is considerably rarer than the more familiar 308 series. Combining iconic Pininfarina styling, lightweight construction, and a unique place in Ferrari history as the brand’s first turbocharged road car, it is today regarded by many enthusiasts and collectors as the most desirable and significant version of the 208 range.
This particular Ferrari 208 GTB Turbo, finished in the iconic Rosso Corsa with a black interior, perfectly captures the timeless spirit of Ferrari in the 1980s. The deep red exterior highlights the sharp Pininfarina lines, while the black cabin creates a sporty and elegant contrast.
