Another thing to consider is the insurance for the car - this can be quite expensive compared with other countries. Some car brands offer very good deals for insurance when you buy a new car, so you should include this in your thoughts.
Apart from that, I agree that leasing a Renault Clio would be a good idea for you.

As the other guys says, lease a car, it would proberly be the cheapest way to get you on wheels.
You can even lease a usen car and the monthly pay is not low, but you won`t find it much better here in Denmark.
